People supporting local good causes could win a brand-new Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max, or up to £25,000, by buying tickets for Swale Borough Council’s community lottery.

The Swale Community Lottery gives people the chance to support their favourite local charities and non-profit organisations financially, while having the chance to win cash prizes each week.

For this month’s Super Draw, everyone who buys a ticket before Saturday 31 October will be in with the chance of winning the brand-new Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max with 512GB storage.

Enjoy a huge 6.9-inch display, Apple’s best-ever iPhone battery life, super-fast A20 Pro performance and an advanced camera system for brighter, sharper photos and videos, even in low light.

With 8x optical-quality zoom, Apple Intelligence and lots of space for photos, videos, games and apps, this is the ultimate iPhone upgrade.

The over 50 charities, voluntary organisations and other not-for-profit groups of all shapes and sizes who have signed up to the lottery receive 50% of the proceeds from tickets they sell.

A further 10% from every ticket sale goes into a central fund which goes to additional good causes in Swale.

The remainder goes towards prize funds and operating costs.

Thanks to the amazing support from the people of Swale, the charities that have signed up to benefit from the lottery receive a monthly cash boost throughout the year.

The regular draws take place every week, and as well as the £25,000 jackpot, players people could win prizes of £2,000, £250, £25 or more tickets.

With eight lucky Swale residents winning £250 each in 2026 alone.

Super draws take place on the last Saturday of each month, and you can buy extra tickets to “top-up” for super draw week – or if you don’t want weekly tickets, you can buy tickets just for the super draw.

Tickets for the lottery are available on the Swale Community Lottery website and cost just £1.

Cllr Hannah Perkin, chair of the housing, health and communities committee, said:

“The Swale Community Lottery offers our local good causes a unique tool to fundraise, helping raise thousands of pounds towards their incredibly important services since it was launched.

“By buying tickets you can directly support one of your favourite good causes while standing the chance to win weekly cash prizes and, for this month’s super draw, the newest iPhone.

“The main goal of the lottery is to help Swale’s nonprofits fund the work they do within our communities, and being able to provide our residents with the chance to win money and other prizes is a great bonus.”
