Help us test our new bin day email reminders.
We are developing a new service to send bin collection reminders straight to your inbox.
Before we launch this to everyone in Swale, we need a small group of residents to test it and tell us if it works.
This pilot is open to people who have signed up to our regular news email, and this page can only be accessed via the link sent in the newsletter.
How it works
You can sign up for the pilot scheme via the link below.
You'll need to enter your postcode to select your address, then provide us with the email address you want the reminders sent to.
This email address will only be used for reminders about your scheduled bin collection. In future, we may use it it to provide other potentially useful information about your recycling and waste collections. This could be updates about delays due to breakdowns or accidents, or flagging any issues like contamination which means your recycling would be more expensive to dispose of.
Once you sign up, you'll get a series of three welcome emails - one every couple of days. These will have information and tips about your recycling and waste.
We'll send you an email the day before your regular scheduled collection. These should be sent around 6pm, which gives you a chance to get any leftovers from your dinner in the food waste!
Please remember this is a test version (a 'beta'), so things might not be perfect yet. If an email arrives late or contains the wrong information please let us know.
If you're not sure about your collection day, you can check via our bin day tool.
You can unsubscribe to the service any time you like via the link in the email.
