Cllr Rich Lehmann, Chair of the Environment and Climate Change Committee said:
“Tree week gives us all a chance to get some fresh air and show our commitment to our environment, as well as help more people understand the benefits trees bring.
“We are proud to be involved again this year and hope our residents can come along to some of the fun and exciting events we have planned.
“You can help us grow the forest at Milton Creek, clean up and maintain our woodlands this tree week.
“We are planning even more tree planting days this December, so keep an eye out for even more volunteering opportunities and help make a positive impact on our planet.”
