Batteries, electrical and textiles

Got an old kettle that no longer works and you’re not sure what to do with? Or textiles and clothing that are past their prime?

As part of the new waste contract we’ve made some changes to the way we collect waste electricals, textiles and batteries.

These will no longer be collected as part of kerbside collections.

There are already lots of places where these can be recycled, such as supermarkets, household waste and recycling centres, and local charities.

If you're having a larger item taken away in a bulky collection, you can also add small electrical appliances, textiles and batteries, but you can't book a collection just for them.
